Master Plan Implementation Committee

The Master Plan Implementation Committee (MPIC) was appointed by the Planning Board in 2021 to serve as an advisory body tasked to work closely with Town Officials, the Planning Board, and the Select Board to prioritize Master Plan recommendations for implementation and funding. The Westborough Master Plan Implementation Committee is charged with keeping the town enthusiastic and engaged in its 2021 Master Plan. It shall advance the Master Plan's vision and goals, developed in collaboration with the larger Westborough community. To this end, it works with the town's various departments, boards, and committees, along with supporting partner organizations, to prioritize and plan for the execution of the Master Plan's recommended actions - whether policy, program, operational improvement, or capital project. It shall also be responsible for tracking and reporting implementation progress to the Select Board, Planning Board and the community at-large, as well as for monitoring this progress for improvement opportunities.

This committee is made up of thirteen members appointed by the Planning Board for indefinite terms.
