The Westborough Fire Department EMTs and Paramedics are trained to rapidly assess and intervene with basic and advanced medical-level care. This level of patient care has improved many of our patients' outcomes. With advanced medicine our patient's status can improve greatly prior to the arrival at the hospital, usually resulting in shorter hospital stays and improved outcomes.
The Fire Department operates at the Advanced Life Support level of emergency care. At the Advanced Level, our patients may receive:

- Venous and IO Access
- 12 Lead ECGs
- End Tidal Capnography
- Medication Administration
- Trauma Management
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- State-of-the-Art Lucas CPR Equipment
