Westborough Police Department Receives Accreditation
On June 21, 2023, the Westborough Police Department was awarded by the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission 6th Edition Accreditation, marking a significant achievement for the department and the community of Westborough. On behalf of the department, we would like to express our gratitude to the members of the community for their support and encouragement throughout this process. We would also like to thank all the members of our department for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence that made this accreditation possible. We especially want to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of Lt. Michael Daniels, Sgt Greg Schipporeit, our accreditation managers for their tireless work and determination that helped us achieve this prestigious recognition. Accreditation serves as a validation that we are meeting and exceeding the highest professional standards in law enforcement, and we are proud to continue to serve and protect the community of Westborough with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
