Purchasing Department

Westborough purchasing department is a centralized Purchasing Office that handles all the Purchase Orders, RFRs, and IFBs for all the Departments. The purpose of this office is to provide assistance to all the Town Departments with the procurement of Goods and Services in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. The Procurement Office encourages the use of State Contracts, MHEC contracts, MAPC contracts, and other Purchasing Cooperatives available for the purchasing of Goods and Services. The Procurement Office also encourages the use of local vendors whenever possible, as it considers its relationship with local vendors/suppliers as business partnerships that result in superior results for the Town. Procurement office aims to increase fair and open competition, as well as maintain goodwill with all those who are interested in doing business with the Town.
