Forestry Division

Responsibilities

Under the Supervision of the Tree Warden the Forestry Division is responsible for:

• The management of all Town street trees which includes;
  • Hazard Removals
  • Tree Trimming
  • Tree Planting
    • Target plantings within the right of way
    • Adopt A tree setback plantings
  • Storm response planning, implementation and emergency response

The purpose of this program is to promote, preserve, and enhance the shade tree environment of the community through the application of best management practices and public education campaigns.
