The Board of Assessors is responsible for ensuring fair and equitable taxation within the Town of Westborough in accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 59. Each year, the assessors value all residential, commercial, industrial, and taxable personal property in the town for the purpose of ad valorem taxation. The Board is also responsible for administering tax abatements and personal exemptions.
This board consists of two members who are appointed by the Town Manager for three year terms and the Town's Chief Assessor.
The Assessing Department is also available to the public to provide information, answer questions, and add clarity to the taxation process.
