At the October 14, 2014 Hearing and Revised at the May 11, 2021 Hearing of the Westborough Conservation Commission, the Commission voted to adopt the following policy regarding submittals to the Commission.
Any written or electronic material (in addition to that included with the Application) which will be referred to by the Applicant (or the Applicant's representatives) at any public hearing must be submitted to the Conservation Commission at least Eight (8) business days prior to such hearing to ensure adequate and proper review by the Board. Any material submitted later than this deadline may, at the Board's discretion, constitute a constructive request by the Applicant for a continuation of the hearing if, in the opinion of the Board, the Board and/or Town staff has not had adequate time to appropriately consider such material.
Any submittals by the Conservation Director or Assistant Conservation Officer to the board that will materially affect any deliberations or decisions by the board, such as draft Orders of Condition, must be provided to the Board no later than close of business the day before the hearing. At the Board's discretion, the board may request that the hearing be continued if such information is received after that deadline, to ensure that the board has adequate time to review the information.
