Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)

The mission statement of the Town of Westborough's Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is to ensure the community's emergency response network is trained to a competent level to respond to hazardous materials incidents. This is accomplished by encouraging a partnership between the Town, State, businesses, industries, and residents through the exchange of information, mutual planning, and public outreach with the resources available to the Committee.

This nineteen member committee is appointed by the Select Board and consists of representatives from public safety, facilities, communications, public health and Town departments.
