The executive powers of the Town shall be vested in the Board of Selectmen and may be exercised by the Board of Selectmen jointly or through the Town agencies and offices under the Board’s general supervision and control. As chief executive officers of the Town, the Board of Selectmen shall be responsible for the aspects of the Town's government that is not otherwise granted to another elected officer, board, commission or committee. The Board of Selectmen shall cause the laws and orders for the government of the Town to be enforced and shall cause a record of all its official acts to be kept and, for that purpose and to aid it in its official duties, there shall be a Town Manager.
The Select Board consists of five members who are elected to three year terms.
