The Westborough Veterans Advisory Board oversees a Hometown Heroes recognition program of banners which are displayed in downtown Westborough over the Memorial and Veterans Day holidays. These banners recognize and honor all honorably discharged Westborough Veterans, past or present, living or deceased. The Hometown Heroes Task Force will review all nominations and follow priorities for selection of veterans and placement of banners on poles. The WVAB is accepting sponsorships and general donations to fund the program and responses are being received on an ongoing basis. Sponsorships from families, friends and businesses are available for a donation of $150 per banner with donations in excess of this amount gladly welcomed to help fund and maintain this project.
