Golf Club Building Committee Creation

The Town Manager hereby announces the creation of the Golf Club Building Committee to begin pursuing a future construction project of the current site at the Westborough Golf Club at 121 West Main Street. The Committee will be charged with moving forward in alignment with the Golf Club Building Use Committee’s recommendation. The first task of the committee would be to develop estimates in order to request an appropriation at the Annual Town Meeting in March. This would require the committee to present to the Select Board and Finance Committee in January 2024.

The composition of the seven (7) member committee will be made up of the following:

• (1) Select Board Member

• (1) Advisory Finance Team Member

• (1) Municipal Building Committee Member

• (1) Golf Club Building Reuse Committee Member

• (3) At- Large Members that have experience in one or more of the following:

• Architecture

• Construction management and/or facilities management

• Planning

• Golf course operations

• Restaurant management

Letters of interest with a resume/CV must be received at the Town Manager’s office by December 4, 2023.
